About cat 5e cables

Cat5 is known as category 5 cables and is basically known as twisted pair cables used for carrying signals. People used this cable in structured cabling for computer networks such as Ethernet. It provides performance up to 100 MHz and it is suitable for 10Base-T, 100Base-TX and even for Gigabit 1000Base-T. 
 

Cat5e in specifically designed for data networks to support high-speed data transmission such as Gigabit Ethernet at a bandwidth of 100MHz. How Cat6 Cables Once Saved the World

Cat 6 is known as the category 6 cable with a bandwidth of up to 250 MHz. Cat 6 is the 6th generation twisted pair Ethernet cable defined by ANSI/TIA. Cat 6 provides high performance that delivers a maximum speed of 1 Gigabit per second. If you check the communication speed travel with Cat 5, Cat 6 will be a double that of the Cat 5.
